You can explore the resources included here to find age appropriate content to suit students who are completing units in the VCE VM and VPC courses. Many of the resources are written for students who prefer easy reading text with strong visual support. They are designed as print-and-go resources to save teachers time in developing content to suit their VCE VM and VPC students.

LICENCING
Some resources are labelled as School and Library Licence. These resources have been designed for multi-teacher use, and can be shared within the school or library setting across classes and groups. These are slightly higher cost to reflect the ability of a school or library to buy one copy and have permission to share it within their setting.
Resources which do not have a School and Library Licence label are designed for single teacher use and are lower cost - making them an affordable option for individual teachers and trainers working with their own student group.
Got questions?

Are the resources easy to use in class?
Yes — the VCE VM and VPC resources are designed as a print-and-go, for students who learn best through real-world, hands-on tasks. Whether it’s reading workplace forms, practising numeracy through shopping and budgeting, or exploring employability skills, you’ll have lessons that are engaging and ready straight away.

How do the resources meet VPC outcomes?
Resources link effectively to VPC learning outcomes for literacy, numeracy and work related learning.
They’re flexible enough for whole-class, small group, or individual work, and use careful scaffolding to support diverse learning needs focused on successful outcomes.

Are the resources suitable for teen and young adult learners?
Teen and young adult learners need age-respectful, accessible content that builds confidence. These resources are written specifically for older students with developing literacy and numeracy skills - they are not just adapted versions of higher level resources. This makes them relevant, success oriented and respectful.
Take the learning outdoors
Are your Vocational students doing hands on learning activities? Many students thrive with a hands on, project based approach to learning which can allow them to apply their employability skills, literacy and numeracy to a real world context. Heading outdoors to complete activities in nature is a great option for students who do best when they are able to self direct, and there are well known benefits for mental health, well being and behaviour management when students are learning outdoors too! Explore our range of agriculture and horticulture activities to link classroom learning with real world practice.
